A New Playground In Sunnyvale
Last month we completed a playground at Murphy Park, which provides outdoor recreation and nature preservation in Sunnyvale, CA. Recently ranked as one of America’s best places to live, Sunnyvale is a quaint city located at the southern end of San Francisco Bay. Offering residents convenient access to nearby metropolitan areas such as San Jose and San Francisco, Sunnyvale has an ideal climate and is one of the most sought-after cities in the area.
Fostering Imagination and Inclusivity
Originally a bed of dirt, Murphy Park’s playground transformed into a spacious area with inclusive amenities that bring people together. Our team prepared for construction by excavating an existing unused area around an existing beautiful big palm tree. We then leveled the area down to grade, added drainage, and rerouted existing irrigation and sewer lines. This process required detailed strategy and hard work to complete each step with precision and care.
The park includes intricate design details that foster collaborative play and inclusivity. Featuring a play structure with a train theme, poured-in-place rubber with bright colors resembling a train track, decorative panels, and a custom stainless steel tunnel, the area is a vibrant environment ideal for imagination and excitement.
While we enjoy working on a wide range of commercial projects, there’s something special about building for our community. Adding a fun, adventurous, and safe playground to Murphy Park was a pleasure, and we look forward to similar projects in the future.
