A Firm Foundation

Founded in 1998 by father-son duo George and Gerard Callahan, G&G Builders has had strong character and conviction from its inception. A native New Yorker, George Callahan brought his family to the San Francisco Bay area in the 1970s and began working in the construction industry. Years later while Gerard was in college, G&G Builders was born. How George ran the business still inspires the company today; Gerard remembers work being a top priority growing up. “Working,” he says, “was a must. But it didn’t feel like work because dad loved what he did – because of him, I love what I do too.” With his military background, George Callahan instilled key values that continue to take precedence in G&G Builder’s culture today.

Not only are we consistent with our communication, but our team isn’t afraid to own up to challenges.
